		<description>Jon, &lt;br&gt;No, these voicings aren&#039;t all in 2nd inversion.  &quot;Drop 2&quot; is a voicing technique used by many arrangers to allow certain notes to fit into registers that were better suited for the instruments they were writing for.  Usually that meant a horn section.  It just so happens that guitarists like these because they lay so comfortably on the guitar and are very easy to alter to make more advanced sounding voicings.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Hope that helps.</description>
