NGW Jazz Summit 2010 Guest Artists

Kurt Rosenwinkel Trio – Ask Me Now

For me, this is the standout track from Kurt’s latest CD. Along with bassist Eric Revis and drummer Eric Harland, Kurt plays a whole lot of guitar on this track. “Ask Me Now” also holds a special place for me because not only is it my favorite Monk tune, but I performed it on my Master’s Recital after seeing Jonathan Kreisberg perform it during one visit to NYC.

Polyphonic Guitar Tuner

I saw this over on GuitarNoize. Looks like from the comments that D’Addario might be interesting in developing this. To me, I am not seeing a groundbreaking idea here.

Am I missing something? Is this just another “more accurate” tuner?
